Gumnut Tours

Owners, and sisters,Kim and Allyson are available daily between 9am - 3pm to welcome new families through our doors for a detailed and informative centre tour. Our preferred times, although, are between 10-11am and 2.30-3pm on any day, as these are the times when the rooms are all engaged in play and families can observe our centre in action. Centre tours can be organised via an email or phone call, or we do welcome spontaneous visits if you are driving past too. Bring along your child/ren too , so they can feel a sense of belonging on the visit as well. We look forward to meeting you and your family real soon!

Daily Fee 2024

0-2 Years $119.00 per day
2-3 Years $118.00 per day
3-5 years $110.00 per day
Government Childcare Subsidy is available for eligible families and application is via Centrelink. 
Fees Includes
- 6 Freshly prepared meals per day (Catering for allergies and intolerances)
- All excursions (up to 10 per year depending on age group)
- Up to 10 incursion visitors during the year (depending on age group)
- Catering and gifts during special events


A bond is required upon acceptance of the position, calculated to cover 4weeks fees. 

Additional cost: May include wetbags, sheet and enrolment fees

Meals

All meals are prepared fresh each day on the premises by our Gumnut Chef’s, using locally purchased, meat and produce. Parents will be consulted regarding children’s nutrition requirements and menus will be compiled taking into consideration children’s taste preferences, nutritional value and recommendations from our families.

Menus will be displayed via our online app for parents to view daily.

Meals include:

  • Breakfast (Nut Free Cereal and Wholemeal toast) till 8am

  • Morning nutrition - Fresh fruit and Veg Platter

  • Lunch with a second course

  • Afternoon nutrition with milk

  • Late Afternoon nutrition

We will offer water to drink at all times. Gumnut’s provides a system via the app which allows parent to view their child’s eating habits throughout the day. Staff provide nutrition education in programmed group time which discusses safe eating habits, understanding & handling eating behaviours, & food related activities.
